After more than 10 years of cruising in and around the 'Pacific' the current crew is preparing for a new challenge. We are concluding our time on board our lovely yacht 'Alexandra' and we want to hand her over to new owners.

January 2009 at Dickson Marine Refits boatyard in Nelson NZ the superstructure and wet surface have received a fresh coat of paint. The rigging is thoroughly inspected, tested and replaced where needed. North Sails Nelson have delivered NEW, modern, HEAVY DUTY CRUISING SAILS, radial cut from Dimension Polyant laminate.

'Alexandra', a Van de Stadt Samoa aluminium sailing yacht, 14.6 meter, is completely equipped for BLUE WATER CRUISING and available for her second circumnavigation to explore the most beautiful parts of the world like the Pacific Ocean.

More information on the ships layout and technical equipment are presented on the next pages of this website. An extensive description of the yacht, the 'Alexandra story 1998-2008' is available on request.

Who wants to become the new owner of  'Alexandra', or do you consider a 50/50 partnership to be a good alternative? The combination of partnership and apartment timesharing can be discussed!

The current owners have finished their circumnavigation in the MEDITERRANEAN in July 2010. Alexandra is currently in Marmaris Yacht Marina in Turkey.

Serious interested candidates are very welcome on board for a sea-trial in Turkey and an in depth introduction to all the secrets of  'Alexandra'  to make themselves completely acquainted.
