After more than 12 years of cruising
in and around the 'Pacific' Hans and Mariët van der Sluijs have
transferred the ownership
of their lovely yacht
'Alexandra' to Lars Taarnskov and Maria Hammer
(from Denmark & Sweden).
Alexandra's first
circumnavigation started in July 1998 and finished at Marmaris Yacht Marina, Turkey
in 2010. Lars and Maria
are currently preparing themselves for their circumnavigation.

Alexandra,

yacht 14.6 meter, is completely equipped for
blue water cruising and currently residing in the boatyard of boatservice Trapani
on Sicily, Italy
Before leaving New Zealand, at Dickson Marine Refits boatyard in Nelson NZ
a refit has been performed. The superstructure and wet surface have received a fresh coat of paint.
The rigging is thoroughly inspected,
tested and replaced where
needed. North Sails Nelson have delivered
NEW, modern,
heavy duty cruising sails,
radial cut from Dimension Polyant laminate.
